I sought out freedom,
Freedom to think,
Any thoughts I may have.
Freedom to feel,
My inner most true emotions.
Freedom to touch,
To reach out to those in need.
Freedom to smell,
The scent of life that surrounds me.
Freedom to ask,
Any questions I may have.
Freedom to see,
All the beauty of nature.
Freedom to know
That I may be who I want to be.
I found that freedom,
That freedom is me.
