This is something that has been on my mind for quite some time now. I wish to share it with you.
"We are not apart from nature, we are a part of it."
( I am not real sure who coined this but I think it was Chief Seattle)
What do those words mean?
apart- not together, separate
part- small bit of the whole.
Mankind has forgotten where he came from. We have used and abused our Great Mother, the Earth. We have murdered our 4-legged brothers and sisters out of fear and for sport. We no longer listen to Mother when She speaks to us. She cries out Her pain and we, Her children, have turned a deaf ear.
As time progresses, we as the children of Mother, must come together, all nations, all religions, all creeds,to save Her. We must strive for balance and love of all. No more hatred. No more suffering because of beliefs that are different. WE MUST COME TOGETHER, for her sake as well as our own, for if we do not, our future generations will lose. They will wither and die.
What can we do to help save our Mother? First and formost we must teach our children to respect their brothers and sisters. Our children learn by example. If they see violence, they learn violence. But if we show love, respect, and understanding for all peoples, our children will learn these traits too. If we teach our children to use Mother's resources without waste, they will learn respect.
Then we must teach ourselves how to respect, how to love, how to listen.
Mother shows us Her love daily. She supplies all of our needs with Her bounty. But greed has become a problem for so many of our brothers and sisters. So many want more than what they need, then become angry they are not happier when they do get it.
ALL we need is to come together. Love, respect, learn, and communicate with one another. When each of the 4 great Nations can do this., wonderful things will happen for Mother's children.
